Vitamin Breakthrough for Coronavirus?!
Dear Turapür Today Reader,
Coronavirus vaccines are officially getting into the arms of folks across the country. Millions of Americans have already received their ‘first’ vaccine… and their ‘second’ dose is not far behind.
This is welcome (and hopeful) news in the fight against COVID-19.
But this still means things like social distancing… wearing masks… handwashing… and the frequent use of hand sanitizer will continue to be our standard protocol against the virus for the time being.
But if you’re looking for another way to stay safe during the age of COVID-19, there is some good news.
According to new research, fending off some of the worst risks of coronavirus may be as simple as making sure you are getting enough of THIS vitamin!
Here’s everything you need to know about the latest research…
According to a recent study published in the journal Frontiers in Nutrition, vitamin B6 can reduce cytokine storms and blood clots – both of which are associated to some of the worst COVID-19 outcomes.
Cytokine storms have been linked to many deaths from COVID-19 and occur when the immune system goes into overdrive and starts attacking healthy cells.
Meanwhile, studies have found that that blood clots are associated with a 74 percent increased risk of death from COVID-19.
In other words, getting adequate amounts of vitamin B6 may protect people against those severe complications.
And while this research is preliminary, it’s not surprising — we’ve known for ages that vitamin B6 plays a crucial role in supporting the proper function of your immune system.
Vitamin B6 is vital to supporting biochemical reactions in the immune system, like making new red blood cells, and transporting oxygen throughout the body.
But nearly one in 10 Americans are vitamin B6 deficient!
So how do you make sure you’re getting enough of this vitamin?
This Food Could Be Growing Deadly Tumors
Are we literally FEEDING cancer cells by putting this one food on our dinner plates?
This is important. THIS one food could be growing cancer cells.
And here’s where it gets interesting... as soon as we STOP eating it, the opposite happens: cancer cells STARVE to death -- and die out by the thousands.
Skeptical? See the evidence here.
Vitamin B6-rich foods include chicken and fish such as salmon and tuna. It’s also is found in green vegetables and in chickpeas, which is the main ingredient in delicious appetizers like hummus.
Vitamin B6 supplements are also available at most health food stores, pharmacies, and online vitamin retailers… usually for less than $10 per bottle.
If you decide to take a supplement, be sure to follow the recommended dosage stated on the bottle.
And as always, if you’re worried that you’re not getting enough vitamin B6, be sure to talk to your doctor.
