[ALERT] Popular heartburn meds linked to MEMORY LOSS

We’ve all experienced that ‘burning’ feeling.

You know, the one that starts in the pit of your stomach… and BURNS its way up into your throat.

It could happen right after a meal—or it could haunt you HOURS later.

I’m talking about dreaded acid reflux—a.k.a. “heartburn.”

For years, the mainstream ‘solution’ to this miserable condition has been proton pump inhibitors—a.k.a. PPIs.

But Big Pharma skips right over the SERIOUS risks these drugs pose.

You see, they could RAVAGE your lungs and bones… SADDLE you with a C. diff infection (a.k.a. “deadly diarrhea”) … or even increase your risk for CANCER!

Now we know these drugs could have a SERIOUS impact on your quality of life, too.

New research out of Ohio State University reveals that the long-term use of PPIs could increase your risk of developing rapid MEMORY LOSS!

In fact, the researchers found that memory problems were between 20% and 29% MORE SEVERE than those reported by patients who didn’t use PPIs.

YIKES!

But if you suffer from acid reflux, there is good news!

You see, heartburn and acid reflux can be treated easily, naturally… and WITHOUT a single dose of PPIs.

And best of all? You probably have many of these natural remedies sitting in your pantry or refrigerator.

There’s baking soda, for example. We all have a box if it sitting in the back of our refrigerator. But did you know that just a teaspoon of baking soda neutralizes stomach acid so that even if it comes up, you won’t feel that burning sensation?

Try mixing 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 8 ounces of water and drinking all of it. Repeat as needed (but don’t exceed seven doses in one day).

And there’s also fruit… but not just any fruit. I’m talking about apples. We all know the phrase ‘an apple a day keeps the doctor away.’ But an apple a day also keeps that nasty burning feeling away, too! To prevent acid discomfort at night, slice up an apple, and enjoy it a few hours before bedtime.

And did you know mustard isn’t just a great condiment? Mustard also contains alkaline, which neutralizes the acid that stirs up your heartburn. Try taking 1 teaspoon of straight mustard when you feel about of heartburn coming on, or if you’re already experiencing symptoms.

If you are currently taking PPIs to manage your heartburn or acid reflux, but sure to talk to your doctor before ditching the meds for a natural remedy.
