[ALERT] Heartburn Drugs Linked to DIABETES

Well, folks… Big Pharma has done it AGAIN.

Once again, they’ve convinced the masses that one of their ‘miracle’ drugs is perfectly safe… and millions of folks continue to take their word for it.

But new research has once again exposed ANOTHER Big Pharma lie… and this time, it’s exposed a deadly secret about one the most popular drugs in the world!

So, what’s the latest Big Pharma FRAUD?

It turns out that taking proton pump inhibitors (aka PPIs) – a common class of drugs to treat heartburn and acid reflux – INCREASES your risk of developing type 2 diabetes!

According to new research published in Gut, regular use of PPIs is linked to a heightened risk of developing type 2 diabetes down the road.

Even worse? The research team also indicated that this risk of type 2 diabetes INCREASES with the duration of PPI use… prompting the research team to advise that people taking these drugs for two or more years should have regular blood glucose check-ups to screen for diabetes.

In other words, if you’ve been taking PPIs for an extended period … it’s time to get blood work done to check for diabetes!

But what if you suffer from acid reflux or heartburn and have been taking PPIs for relief?

Thankfully, there are plenty of natural remedies that squash nasty stomach acid… potentially making those pesky PPIs obsolete.

For instance, did you know that baking soda is a great, natural weapon against stomach acid? And chances are, you have a box if it sitting in the back of your refrigerator. But did you know that just a single teaspoon of baking soda neutralizes stomach acid so that even if it comes up, you won’t feel that burning sensation?

Try mixing 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 8 ounces of water and drinking all of it. Repeat as needed (but don’t exceed seven doses in one day).

And there’s also fruit… but not just any fruit. I’m talking about apples. We all know the phrase ‘an apple a day keeps the doctor away.’ But an apple a day also keeps that nasty burning feeling away, too! To prevent acid discomfort at night, slice up an apple, and enjoy it a few hours before bedtime.

And did you know mustard isn’t just a great condiment? Mustard also contains alkaline, which neutralizes the acid that stirs up your heartburn. Try taking 1 teaspoon of straight mustard when you feel about of heartburn coming on, or if you’re already experiencing symptoms.

If you are currently taking PPIs to manage your heartburn or acid reflux, but sure to talk to your doctor before ditching the meds for a natural remedy.
