But when it comes to flavanols that offer the best protection against Alzheimer’s, researchers found that one group of flavanols called kaempferol stands out.

In fact, researchers found during the course of their six-year study, those who consumed the highest amount of kaempferol had a 51% lower risk of Alzheimer’s compared to those who consumed the lowest.
