[Study] The WORST Time to Drink Tea Is…
Dear Turapür Today Reader,
It’s no secret that drinking tea is one of the BEST things you can do for your overall health.
Drinking a soothing cup of tea is great way to not only reduce the risk of developing diabetes but it also helps you keep your cholesterol low… and protect your brain.
Which are all important things to be mindful of as you age.
But today I’m going to share another secret about drinking tea… only this time, it’s about when to NOT drink it!
That’s rights, folks. According to some new research, there’s actually a time of day you want to AVOID drinking tea in order to maximize its overall health benefits.
Here’s everything you need to know.
According to a new international study, if you’re over the age of 65 you should avoid drinking tea with a meal.
Now, you’re probably asking yourself…
What’s wrong with a cup of tea while I eat?
It’s not that tea is “bad” … but it turns out that drinking tea during a meal can interfere with your body’s ability to absorb iron and zinc from the foods you eat.
Iron and zine are two extremely important nutrients, especially for seniors. Zinc helps your immune system function properly, and iron helps your body make red blood cells that carry oxygen throughout the body.
If you’re already drinking tea on a regular basis, keep it up!
Just be sure to drink it between meals to ensure your body is absorbing valuable nutrients.

This Food Could Be Growing Deadly Tumors
This Food Could Be Growing Deadly Tumors
Are we literally FEEDING cancer cells by putting this one food on our dinner plates?
This is important. THIS one food could be growing cancer cells.
And here’s where it gets interesting… as soon as we STOP eating it, the opposite happens: cancer cells STARVE to death — and die out by the thousands.
Skeptical? See the evidence here.
If you’re looking to jumpstart your tea-drinking regimen, I recommend oolong tea.
Oolong tea is a traditional Chinese tea that has been used for centuries and is packed with polyphenols – which are compounds that boost your metabolism and decrease the amount of fat absorbed from your diet.
Even though oolong tea isn’t as ‘mainstream’ as other teas (like green tea), you can find oolong tea at most grocery stores, health food stores, or online retailers for less than $10.
Oolong tea does contain caffeine, so it’s best not to consume oolong tea in excess. If you decide to start brewing this tea, stick to no more than two cups per day.
If you’re worried about your overall iron and zinc levels, be sure to have a conversation with your doctor. Most blood tests can determine if you have low levels and if you need to take an iron or zinc supplement.
