Wonder Vitamin Slashes Heart Risk 70%

Talk to your typical doctor about reducing your heart attack risk and you’ll feel like you’re back in the Old West.

Because he’ll whip out that prescription pad faster than Billy the Kid drawing a six-shooter.

And he’ll tell you all about the wonders of cholesterol-lowering statins… you know, those same drugs that have been linked to everything from diabetes to cataracts.

Because, of course, dangerous statins are the only answer the mainstream has.

But here’s the good news — there’s an easy way to slash your heart risk by a whopping 70%.

And all you have to do is get more of a common vitamin.

I’m talking about vitamin C. And for years you’ve heard how important it is for your immune system.

Now it looks like it can help shield you from deadly heart problems like heart attack, stroke, aneurysm and heart failure.

In a recent study, researchers from the University of Navarra in Spain looked at the vitamin C consumption of over 13,000 participants.

At the end of the 11-year study, they found that folks who had the highest vitamin C intakes were at a 70% lower risk of dying from heart problems!

Experts aren’t exactly clear as to why vitamin C is so beneficial for your heart but it’s likely due its anti-inflammatory effects.

Luckily, getting more vitamin C in your diet couldn’t be easier.

All you have to do is load up on brightly colored fruits and veggies like citrus, peppers, kale, berries and guavas.

If you’re unsure if you’re getting enough vitamin C in your diet, you can always take a supplement. These are easily found at your local grocery store or pharmacy.
