Whistleblower Reveals AD Drug Bombshell [EXCLUSIVE]

As a reader of Turapür Today, you know firsthand that I’ve talked at length about the hope that one day there will be a viable cure for Alzheimer’s disease. 

But you also know that glossy, mainstream headlines regarding a ‘cure’ for Alzheimer’s must be taken with a grain of salt. 

Case in point? The on-going saga of a so-called Alzheimer’s ‘miracle’ drug that Big Pharma has managed to convince the masses that this is THE next innovation in Alzheimer’s treatment.  

In case you’ve missed it, here’s a very quick recap… 

In early June, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the use of the experimental drug aducanumab (which is marketed under the name Aduhelm) for early phases of Alzheimer’s disease. This marked the first time the FDA has approved a new therapy for the disease since 2003. 

But It turns out that under the terms of the FDA’S conditional approval, aducanumab’s developer and manufacturer – Biogen – has NINE years to determine if the drug even works! 

But now a former top FDA advisor just revealed a truly UGLY bombshell about what really happened during the so-called ‘approval’ process of this Alzheimer’s drug.  

Trust me, once you hear what he had to say, you’ll be DISGUSTED! 

According to an exclusive report from CNN, Dr. Aaron Kesselheim (who was a trusted FDA advisor for a half-dozen years) called the approval of aducanumab ‘probably the worst drug approval decision in recent US history.’ 

WOW! 

What exactly prompted Kesselheim to make such a claim? 

Well, according to the report, Kesselheim said that during his tenure with the FDA, there is always ‘distance’ from the company when it comes to approving a drug. But in this case, he noted that the FDA and Biogen seemed to be in lockstep every step of the way. 

So much so, the FDA rejected the unanimous conclusion of Kesselheim and the advisory committee not to fast-track the drug – something he said NEVER happened during his time with the FDA. 

Kesselheim (along with two other members of the advisory committee) promptly resigned in protest because of the actions.  

So, what is the underlying cause of all of this? 

GREED! Big Pharma is poised to make a FORTUNE with this new drug… with older adults most likely footing the bill. 

Biogen admitted that the cost of treatment (which requires an infusion once every four weeks) is about $4,312 per infusion! And over the course of a year will run close to $56,000! 

So, it’s no wonder they wanted to fast-track the approval of this drug despite concerns from their own panel. 

So, what does bombshell admission mean for you? 

If you have a history of Alzheimer’s in your family, or believe you may be at risk, continue to have on-going conversations with your doctor on the treatment plan that’s right for you.
