Vitamin Breakthrough for Coronavirus?!

Scientists, doctors, and researchers around the world are working around-the-clock to find a cure for the coronavirus.

In the meantime, one thing is for certain… the coronavirus isn’t going away anytime soon.

Two new studies have suggested that getting plenty of vitamin D (aka ‘The Sunshine Vitamin’) may protect people against severe complications of the coronavirus.

A team of researchers at Northwestern University have linked coronavirus with vitamin D deficiency, suggesting that not having enough of the nutrient could mean people are more likely to experience serious complications if they are infected.

In other words, a lack of vitamin D could lead to immune-system complications… potentially worsening the virus for those that do get sick.

And while this research is preliminary, it’s not surprising — we’ve known for ages that vitamin D plays a crucial role in supporting the proper function of your immune system.

But with lockdown and stay-at-home orders in place across the county and around the world, MILLIONS of people aren’t getting the natural vitamin D their bodies need to boost their immune system.
