Two Ways to Get the Freshest-Tasting Water From Your Turapür Products

Have you ever taken a sip of water and experienced a not-so-fresh taste?

And you’re not alone. Lots of folks experience less-than-fresh-tasting water from time to time with water filters.

But there’s good news: You don’t have to experience it any longer.

Today, I’m going to share with you two dead-simple ways to get the freshest, best-tasting hydrogen water you can imagine right from your Turapür product.

Many things, like the foods in your fridge, PVC piping and municipal water sources, can affect the taste of your water — even if you’ve gone the extra mile to filter it with a Turapür pitcher or countertop unit.

While using a Turapür product ensures a better taste, less odor and all of the amazing health benefits of free hydrogen, there are still a few other ways to help keep your water fresh and pure.

1. Store pungent foods in containers and away from your Turapür pitcher

Pungent foods like onions, cheeses and certain herbs can change the taste profiles of foods stored near them. (If you’ve ever bitten into a sandwich that was packed alongside a ripe banana, you know what I’m talking about.) The same goes for water. No matter how pure and hydrogen-rich your water is, there are still foods that can affect its taste.

To remedy this, all you have to do is store your pungent foods in containers and store them as faraway from your Turapür pitcher as possible. For instance, place your contained onions, garlic and stinky cheeses in bottom drawers of your fridge (or the bottom shelf if you don’t have drawers) and keep your pitcher on the top shelf. You can also add a box of baking soda to your fridge to keep odors and flavors at bay.

But perhaps the best way to get rid of food flavors in your hydrogen water is to skip the fridge altogether. If you would like to reap all of the amazing health benefits of hydrogen water while avoiding contact with your pungent foods, you can do so with the Turapür countertop system. The filter can be easily installed directly to your kitchen sink and provides two stages of filtration. The first stage reduces bad tastes and odors. The second stage passes the water through special minerals that generate free hydrogen in the water — making it a powerful antioxidant. 2. Vinegar Rinse Your Pitchers and Filters

This quick wash can help fight bad tastes and odors caused by your water source or plumbing in your home.

To remove nasty odors and flavors that have invaded the pitcher, be sure to rinse the entire pitcher with a solution of four ounces of vinegar (5 percent acetic acid; I use distilled white) and 4 ounces of water. Swish the water around in the reservoir and the tank for a few minutes and then rinse with fresh water.

To ensure you are getting the most out of your filters for both the pitcher and the countertop unit, they should be rinsed with the same solution frequently — at least once a week for pitchers and at least once a month for countertop units.
