Tropical Fruit CLEARS Clogged Bowels (In 30 Days!)

People don’t like to talk about it… but when they’re suffering from the pain and discomfort of constipation, most folks will do ANYTHING to get things moving.  

For some, that means spending HOURS stretching and straining over the toilet… sitting or squatting for so long that their legs go numb…

Today, I want to talk about kiwi. 

While these green-fleshed fruits (Actinidia deliciosa) are often associated with New Zealand, they’re actually native to China, where powerful warlords (called khans) once treasured them for their unique taste. 

These days, though, these juicy little fruits are grown all over the world… from Turkey to Chile to Italy and California, USA… 

And recently, modern research revealed that kiwi is more than just a delicious tropical treat. 

It could be a bona fide CURE for constipation! 

In a study from 2007, published in the World Journal of Gastroenterology, researchers recruited 33 adults who’d been constipated for more than six months and instructed them to eat two kiwis per day for one month. 

Before starting treatment, these people reported the tell-tale signs of constipation: hard stools, incomplete evacuation, and fewer than three complete spontaneous bowel motions (CSBMs) per week. 

Basically, they couldn’t “go.” 

But by the study’s end, these folks saw TWICE AS MANY bowel movements – 4.4 CSBMs compared to 2.2 – per week! 

Plus, kiwi-eaters reported improvements in satisfaction and “bothersomeness” related to constipation symptoms… 

And researchers observed that their transit time (the time between food entering and exiting the body) was also reduced, suggesting healthier digestion! 

But that’s not all… 

In other studies, kiwi (or kiwi extract) has also been found to: 

  • Soften stool (making it easier to expel), 
  • Reduce bowel-associated strain and abdominal pain, 
  • Increase bowel movements, 
  • Ease flatulence, and 
  • Relieve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome! 

These digestion-easing, bowel-clearing effects come from kiwi containing high amounts of both soluble and insoluble fiber, which help increase stool bulk and make it softer – something that’s key for smooth, easy passing through the colon. 

Plus, kiwi includes an enzyme called actinidin, which improves protein digestion and may have laxative effects. 

Unless you’re allergic, kiwi is perfectly safe to eat – or you can opt for chewable kiwi tablets (available through makers like Senokot). 

People who are allergic to hazelnuts, wheat, avocados, latex, figs, or poppy seeds are more likely to have a kiwi allergy… so if you’re not sure, start by eating a very, very small amount. 

Then, keep an eye out for itchy throat, swelling, trouble swallowing, vomiting, or hives.
