For the study, scientists scanned the medical records of about 5,000 older folks for bone health and nutritional data.
After careful analysis, the researchers uncovered something incredible…
Women who ate the most yogurt had higher bone mineral density and improved bone function. And men with the highest yogurt intakes saw 9.5 percent less bone breakdown.
Even better, the researchers found that for every serving increase of yogurt the risk of developing osteoporosis was lowered by a whopping 39 percent in women and an incredible 52 percent in men.
