For the research about 34,000 participants reported their dietary habits and diabetes status. They were also assessed for diabetes using fasting blood sugar and hemoglobin A1C tests.
At the end, the scientists found that folks who ate the most walnuts showed a lower risk for Type 2 diabetes!
In fact, those who ate three tablespoons of walnuts everyday SLASHED their diabetes risk in HALF!

Experts report that walnuts are so good at stopping diabetes because they help lower the inflammation that causes it.
