By the end of the study, researchers concluded that magnesium deficiency (not meeting the recommended daily amount, or RDA) could make you 42 percent more likely to get pancreatic cancer.
And that’s just on average.
If you’re REALLY deficient, your risk skyrockets – shooting your odds of developing the disease as much as 76 PERCENT higher.
That’s likely because magnesium helps manage inflammation and keep harmful free radicals in check – two anti-cancer jobs that aren’t happening if you’re missing out on the nutrient.

I’m talking about creamy avocado, decadent dark chocolate, and crunchy almonds… all of which include more than 15 percent of the RDA in just one serving.
