Well, friend, today I’m calling BS on that bogus bit of mainstream “wisdom.”

New research has revealed a safe, drug-free way of IMPROVING your memory and STRENGTHENING your mind… and unlike other at-home methods, this one doesn’t require ANY extra supplies or supplements.

In fact, if you’ve ever had kids or hosted a party, you already have everything you need…

Because board games can singlehandedly BOOST your brain!

I’ll explain how it works (and which games work best) in just moment…

But first, I want to talk about WHY these findings are so phenomenal.

See, we’ve known for a while now that keeping your brain focused and active is key to staving off memory loss and reduced cognition.

That’s why some docs suggest doing the daily crossword to stay sharp… and why previous research has linked video games and apps (especially action-oriented ones) to improved brain function.

It’s all about PREVENTING idleness and HELPING your mind stay engaged…

But board games take things to a whole new level.

In the study, published in The Journals of Gerontology in November, UK researchers examined medical data from more than 1,000 participants born in 1936 and assessed their cognitive function over time, starting at age 11.

During the study, the researchers asked folks how often they played non-digital games, including cards, chess, bingo, and certain puzzles…

And those who played the most games in their 70s were MORE LIKELY to maintain healthy brain function!

Basically, game-playing folks showed less cognitive decline between the ages of 11 and 79 years old… helping them stay sharper in later life.

But if you weren’t interested in games growing up, don’t worry. That doesn’t mean you’re doomed to brain drain now.

The study found that increased game-playing between 70 and 76 years old also predicted less decline later on… meaning that you may still be able to STRENGTHEN your mind and RESIST dips in cognition.

Plus, compared to digital games, “analog” ones come with an added bonus: You need someone to play with.

In addition to honing your mind with game strategy and focus, you’re also staying social – something that’s repeatedly been linked to improved mood, cognition, and quality of life in seniors!

That’s one thing most solitary apps and video games can’t offer without extra upgrades or fancy equipment… and it serves to STRENGTHEN your mind even more!

So, break out the old chess board or monopoly box – and start playing.

Invite friends and loved ones over for a game night… choose a game (like Scrabble or Rummy) that’s both fun and stimulating… and WOW THEM with your strategy.
