New research finds that this trick helps you AVOID illness and ADD extra time… and with it, there’s no telling how full and fulfilling your life could be.

Here’s how to get started…

In a just-out study, published in The British Medical Journal, researchers analyzed survey results from almost 100,000 Japanese adults (aged 45 to 74 years old) and followed-up with them for close to 15 years.

The surveys asked about dietary habits, lifestyle, and health status, and the researchers used local registries to identify any deaths within that time…

And amazingly, folks who ate the most fermented soy were 10 percent less likely to die!

Now, I know what you might be thinking. “Fermented soy” doesn’t exactly sound delicious (let alone popular), but that’s where you’d be wrong.

Fermented soy products, such as natto (sticky, slimy fermented soy beans) and miso (a flavor-packed paste made with soy beans) are wildly popular in East Asian countries such as Japan, where they’re traditionally served with rice and vegetables.

If you’re a fan of takeout, you might recognize miso as the main ingredient in miso soup, which is made with broth and regional vegetables – and natto may ring a bell for other reasons.

While it’s kind of an acquired taste, natto is highly nutritious – packed with important vitamins and minerals. Plus, studies have repeatedly shown that it can:

  • Improve digestion,
  • Balance gut bugs (your microbiome),
  • Strengthen bone, and
  • Boost immunity.

Remarkably, natto (and its fermentation product nattokinase) has also been found to lower blood pressure, clear clogged arteries, and dissolve deadly clots – effectively protecting your heart!

Now, the Japanese study was observational, so researchers can’t speculate on WHY fermented soy lowered folks’ death risk or HOW it works… but past research definitely supports it.

And getting started is super easy.

To tack on a few extra years… to see your grandkids grown up and watch your loved ones grow… consider eating more fermented soy.

As I mention, natto comes with an odd flavor and smell, but miso is much easier on your palate – and both are available through your local grocery store or Japanese restaurant.

You can even make our own miso soup at home and add whatever meat and veggies you like!

Or, for a more convenient daily option, you can find nattokinase and soy supplements through your local vitamin shop. Just make sure you’re buying a fermented soy product.

In the new study, folks who consumed unfermented soy products did not see the same effects.
