RECALL: Blood Pressure Drug Contains Cancer Agent

What’s the only thing worse than having blood pressure?
The drugs Big Pharma makes to treat it.
They can give you memory problems, diabetes, and even Alzheimer’s.
And if you’re taking a certain blood pressure drug, you could be on your way to having cancer, too.
Because one of the most popular medications in America has been contaminated with a powerful carcinogen… and it’s been poisoning us for the last six years.
Valsartan has made its way in the homes of countless seniors. Last year alone it was prescribed 16 million times.
Recently, it was found to contain a nasty cancer-causing chemical called NDMA, which is used to make rocket fuel and industrial lubricants.
It also increases your risk of cancer and liver and kidney damage.
And thanks to loose manufacturing regulations overseas, it’s now in your medicine cabinet.
You see, valsartan became contaminated with NDMA after a change in the manufacturing process at the Chinese facility where it’s made.
Even worse? This chemical may have been present in batches as far back as 2012.
That means you or a loved one might have been taking this poison for the last six years.

The European Medicines Agency recalled valsartan early last month.
Of course, the FDA didn’t get involved until three weeks later.
The recall includes five different generic valsartan products made by Major Pharmaceuticals, Solco Healthcare, and Teva.
If you’re taking any of these drugs, contact your doctor or pharmacist right away.
And if you’re given a new prescription, ask your pharmacist where it was manufactured.
Avoid — when you can — any drugs made in China.
