The mice who ate the most sugar had the worst symptoms.
And the high-fat group? They were arthritis-free.
The scientists found that carbs increased joint inflammation and decreased cartilage production — two of the main causes of arthritis.
Experts suggest that reducing your carbohydrate intake — especially sugar— can help REVERSE arthritis symptoms.
Also, loading up on fresh fruits and non-nightshade veggies can help lower inflammation in your joints.
