Morning Must-Have FIGHTS OFF Alzheimer’s

Imagine if beating back something as terrible as dementia – or avoiding it altogether – were as simple as waking up in the morning.

You wouldn’t have to change a thing.

You could just grab your trusty newspaper… put on a pot of your favorite brew…

And watch years of debilitating memory loss… brain fog… and confusion… disappear.

It sounds too perfect, right? Too easy? 

I used to think so, too.

But now, Canadian researchers have revealed that an important part of your morning routine can FIGHT OFF debilitating Alzheimer’s disease…

And all you have to do is keep enjoying that cuppa joe.

In the study, published in Frontiers of Neuroscience, researchers set out to test the potential brain-saving benefits of three different kinds of roasted instant coffee…

But they found something rather unexpected…

It’s not the kind of coffee that matters. 

It’s the roasting.

See, as coffee roasts (no matter how dark or light you like it), the process releases impressive chemical compounds called phenylindanes. 

And those phenylindanes are so powerful that they can actually STOP the beta-amyloid and tau proteins associated with Alzheimer’s disease from clumping together in the brain – essentially SAVING you from a lifetime of memory loss and confusion.

But that’s not all.

The researchers found that the benefit increases EVEN MORE and works EVEN BETTER the longer the coffee is roasted – with darker roasts packing a more powerful punch on top of that.

And fortunately, this busy get-up-and-go world has no shortage of coffee.

Pick some up next time you’re at the grocery store to skip lengthy coffee-shop lines (and avoid globs of sickly-sweet added sugar and syrups). 

If you don’t mind the extra-bitter flavor, opt for a dark roast or espresso to get the biggest brain-saving benefit.
