And now new lab studies have found that adding selenium to your diet can protect against obesity and help add valuable years to your life… without having to severely restrict your diet!

How does it work, exactly?

You see, it’s been proven that restricting the intake of an amino acid, called methionine, can help keep unwanted pounds off over the long-term. Methionine restriction causes a decrease in the amounts of an energy-regulating hormone called IGF-1. Too much IGF-1 is a contributing factor to obesity.

But here’s the problem…

Because methionine is found in foods like meat, eggs, and even cheese… restricting the intake of methionine means following a strict vegan diet – which really isn’t ideal (or desirable for that matter).

But now lab studies have found the supplementing with selenium also decreases IGF-1 WITHOUT having to do a complete overhaul of your diet!
