“Magic” Treats STOP Aging

I’m talking about chocolate and red wine.
And for years, you’ve been eating and drinking these tasty delights sparingly, thinking that they’re only good for you in moderation.
Now it looks like you should be indulging every day if you want to stay young.
This is because both chocolate and red wine are packed full of flavonoids like resveratrol, which help protect the body against inflammation—the main villain behind aging.
In a recent lab study, researchers from Exeter University and Brighton University applied flavonoids from chocolate and red wine to aging cells.
Within just a few hours, the flavonoids helped rejuvenate the old cells, making them look and act younger.
Even better? When the researchers took a closer look, they found that these incredible chemicals had even lengthened older cells’ telomeres—cell parts that cause aging as they shorten.
Experts report that in addition to the telomere-lengthening, these flavonoids are so effective against aging because they help “switch back on” important genes that are often switched off as we age.
You can get more of these age-fighting flavonoids by eating dark varieties of chocolate and drinking a glass of red wine.
Or you can always take resveratrol supplements, which are available at your local pharmacy.
