Researchers examined the links between coffee brewing methods and risks of heart attacks and death and found that filtered brew is safest.
In fact, a cup of unfiltered coffee contains about 30 times the concentration of the lipid-raising substances compared to filtered coffee.
In other words, unfiltered coffee can make your cholesterol go higher… which is bad news for your overall heart health.
