Gained Weight? Blame THIS High-Tech Horror!
The older you get, it seems, the more your doc INSISTS that you lose a little weight… claiming that it’ll help lower your heart risk, reduce your odds of diabetes, and more…
But here’s the harsh reality.
For the most part, losing weight is a young person’s game!
As you age, your body’s slowed metabolism makes it harder and harder to melt away fat – no matter how little you eat or how much you exercise!
Plus, as if that weren’t bad enough, new research reveals that there’s SOMETHING ELSE standing in the way of shedding those pounds, a piece of new-fangled technology that practically FORCES you to gain weight…
And you use it EVERY DAY!
I’m talking about your cellphone.
Actually, I’m talking about your TV, your tablet, your computer… ANYTHING that emits the harsh blue light I’ve warned you about before.
Those blue wavelengths have previously been shown to damage your vision and disrupt your sleep…
And now, researchers say that blue light can RUIN any diet or weight-loss attempt by making you CRAVE UNHEALTHY FOODS!

This Food Could Be Growing Deadly Tumors
In a German study, recently presented to the Society for the Study of Ingestive Behavior, researchers exposed lab rats to nighttime blue light and then measured their food consumption during the following day… researchers exposed rats to nighttime blue light and measured their food consumption and glucose tolerance the following day.
The rats were given free access to nutritionally balanced food (a standard rodent food), water, lard, and sugar water… and after blue-light exposure, the animals drank MORE SUGAR WATER!
As in previous research, these findings indicate that nighttime artificial light can interfere with bodily functions like apetite… effectively SABOTAGING any attempts to maintain or lose weight!
In fact, past studies have found a link between late-night blue-light exposure and obesity…
Plus, after just one hour of blue light exposure, the rats in this study showed WORSE glucose tolerance – a marker of pre-diabetes!
So, when it comes to avoiding weight gain (and ENCOURAGING weight loss), be smart. Experts suggest that you can protect yourself from harsh light’s harmful effects by limiting your use of technology (especially closer to bedtime).
That means cutting back on late-night TV and reducing time spent scrolling on your smartphone. Not only will lowering tech time protect your appetite and prevent cravings, but it could help you sleep better, too!
