Food SWAP Slashes Cancer Risk

It’s no secret — quitting junk food can greatly improve your health.

Colon cancer is the fourth-deadliest cancer in the U.S., and chances are your life has been affected by it in one way or another.

In the recent study, researchers from the Harvard University TH Chan School of Public Health tracked the cancer status and dietary habits of more than 121,050 adults for a 26-year period.

At the end, they found one thing to be certain… the more processed products, refined grains, soda and sugary junk foods in your diet, the higher your risk of developing colon cancer.

In fact, eating these foods regularly can up your chances of being diagnosed with colon cancer by more than one-third…

And if you’re overweight, this type of diet ups your risk by 50%!

But that’s the bad news.

The good news is that every time you skip one of these toxic foods, you’re automatically reducing your cancer risk — especially if you’re already battling your weight.

Experts report that processed foods are so bad for your colon because they raise inflammation in your bowels, which can quickly turn into cancer.
