“Fiery Food” BEATS Lung Cancer?!

When it comes to cancer, lung cancer is one of the most AGGRESSIVE and deadly forms of cancer out there… especially for older adults.
In fact, most people that are diagnosed with lung cancer are OVER the age of 65.
And if you think lung cancer is just a ‘smokers’ disease, think again!
Because, believe it or not, nearly 20% of Americans that die of lung cancer have never touched a cigarette.

According to a new study, a compound found in chili peppers called capsaicin may be a promising treatment for lung cancer as it helps cancerous cells of the lungs become more ‘responsive’ to treatments.
Capsaicin is the compound that gives chili peppers their patented ‘spice’ and has long been touted for its cancer-fighting benefits.
But one of the most common – and mainstream – treatments for lung cancer is something called cisplatin-based combination chemotherapy.
But unfortunately, only 3% of patients respond well to it… and in many cases the cancer returns within a year.
But when researchers added the capsaicin compound to the chemotherapy treatment, it SLOWED DOWN cancer cell activity.
In other words, the capsaicin helped ‘turn up the heat’ to stop lung cancer cells from spreading… and that’s GREAT NEWS in the fight against lung cancer!
And here’s more good news… chili peppers are also extremely versatile and don’t just have to be eaten ‘plain.’
