Feeling Dizzy? You Might Have THIS Deadly Disease!

You see, according to new research from the American Academy of Neurology, many people that feel dizzy or lightheaded when they stand up may have an increased risk of developing DEMENTIA!

What’s the connection between dizziness and dementia?

It boils down to regulating your blood pressure.

Remember, your blood pressure is a measurement of two figures… systolic pressure and diastolic pressure.

Systolic pressure – the top number – refers to the amount of pressure in your arteries during the contraction of your heart muscle. Diastolic pressure – the bottom number – refers to your blood pressure when your heart muscle is between beats.

But if you suddenly get dizzy after standing up, this is due to a sudden drop in systolic blood pressure… a condition called systolic orthostatic hypotension.

And the new study found a disturbing link to dementia in folks that consistently have dips in their systolic blood pressure.

In fact, researchers found that people with systolic orthostatic hypotension were nearly 40% MORE LIKELY to develop dementia.

But there’s good news… taking steps NOW to control your blood pressure is a promising way to preserve your thinking and overall memory as you age.

And get this… it can be done WITHOUT prescription blood pressure medication!

One of the best and most effective ways to control your blood pressure is to maintain an active lifestyle. In fact, walking just 30 minutes a day can help lower your blood pressure.
