A Brazilian study back this up. It showed that overweight women who ate apples every day lost more weight than women who didn't.
This means adding an apple to your daily diet could make all the difference in your waistline.
Experts report that apples are so good at helping you slim down because they contain special fibers — called pectin— that can increase your “good” gut bacteria.
And an increase in good gut bacteria can really boost your metabolism.
