Exotic Fruit STOPS Heart Disease and Diabetes

Because researchers have just discovered that eating more of a certain exotic fruit could be the secret to stopping these two deadly diseases before they start.

Mangoes have been at the heart of Ayurvedic medicine and cooking for centuries because of their healing powers.

More recently, they’ve been shown to help with cholesterol and blood sugar levels — two of the key drivers behind heart disease and diabetes.

For the study, researchers at the Illinois Institute of Technology looked at seven studies that focused on how mango consumption affects blood sugar.

After crunching the numbers, the scientists found that folks who eat mangoes regularly have lower blood sugar levels than those who don’t.

But the good news didn’t stop there…

When they took a closer look at the data, they found that mangoes also significantly decreased participants’ cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

This means enjoying a mango three–four times a week could be the easiest way to nip heart disease and diabetes in the bud.

Experts report that mangoes are so good at reigning in your blood sugar and cholesterol because of their high nutrient and antioxidant content.

And the best part: Mangoes are delicious and easily found at your local grocer. They make a great addition to salads, salsas and smoothies.
