Embarrassing Bathroom Problem? Here's How to STOP It
Dear Turapür Today Reader,
Stress can come from anywhere.
A high-pressure job… trouble at home… finances.
These are just a few of the things that elevate our stress levels.
Oh, and let’s not forget about the current coronavirus outbreak that’s causing people’s stress and anxiety levels to SKYROCKET (and rightfully so).
And if you are the victim of chronic stress, you already know that it causes your mind to go HAYWIRE.
But there’s also a PHYSICAL side affect of stress that is literally punching you in the gut.
I’m talking about stress-induced DIARRHEA!
Listen, everyone has a little diarrhea every now and again.
But people that suffer from chronic stress and anxiety are running to the bathroom more than they should… and stress is turning their bowels into a war zone.
If you find yourself stressed out AND rushing to bathroom… there is good news.
You can take easy steps to calm your stress and your urge to run to the bathroom WITHOUT taking a single OTC treatment… and you can do it from the comfort of your own home TODAY!
So what does stress have to do with your gut? And why does it cause diarrhea?
The human body has a natural, physical response to perceived threats in the environment. Many times the brain sends stress signals to the gut via the sympathetic nervous system, which creates the characteristic feeling of ‘butterflies’ in the stomach.
The gut responds to these signals by releasing its own hormones. These hormones slow movements in the stomach and small intestine, while speeding up movements in the large intestine. The body does this to expel harmful toxins… but the outcome of this process is diarrhea.
So how can you treat both your mind AND gut to eliminate the nasty diarrhea once and for all?
Start with managing your stress. If stress is the underlying cause of your diarrhea, try taking some of these steps.
Identifying Stress Triggers
If you find yourself getting stressed, take some time to write down what causes your stress and anxiety. Use a journal to keep a record of your stress and the situations in which it occurs. Many times knowing what triggers your stress is the most important step.
Take a Step Back
If you feel stress building up, try practicing a breathing exercise, counting slowly to 10, or taking a temporary break from the stressor.
Try New Activities That Reduce Stress
Simple activities, such as yoga, spending time in nature, and taking a hot, relaxing bath, can help alleviate stress.
Give some of these things a shot. Your gut with thank you!
