Drink THIS to Cure Depression and Anxiety

If you’ve ever had a bout with anxiety or depression, you already know there are three things your doctor will tell you… no alcohol, more exercise and better sleep.

Because New York researchers have just found that compounds in a certain alcoholic beverage can slash your risk of depression and anxiety.

That’s because of its high polyphenol content. You see, these tiny molecules help fight the diseases of aging by stopping inflammation — the key driver of all disease.

Now, it looks like red wine could be the depression and anxiety cure we’ve all been looking for.

In the recent study, researchers from Mount Sinai Hospital split a group of mice in two. One group took red wine polyphenols and one didn’t. Both groups were then exposed to stress every day for 10 consecutive days.

At the end of the study, the mice getting the polyphenols were in much better shape.

In fact, over 70% of them experienced improved social interactions and reduced stress levels — both of which play a role in anxiety and depression.

Even better? When the scientists took a closer look, they found the polyphenols lower inflammation in pathways specifically linked to depression and anxiety.

As one expert put it, this means polyphenols “may provide an effective way to treat people with depression and anxiety.”

You can get more of these incredible compounds by drinking one glass of red wine a day.

Or you can skip the booze and opt for a resveratrol — the main polyphenol found in red wine — supplement.
