Easy & Delicious Snacks K.O. Lung Cancer

Mainstream docs will tell you that the BEST and ONLY way to avoid lung cancer is to quit smoking… and while that’s partially true, it’s NOT the cancer-beating guarantee they make it out to be.

See, tons of OTHER factors (like pollution, exposure to certain chemicals, secondhand smoke, and family history) can also up your odds of lung cancer – and NONE OF THEM are improved by shirking cigarettes.

But docs don’t want you to know that.

They want you so TERRIFIED of smoking and cancer that you go ALL-IN on quitting… buying up “cessation aids” (like Chantix tablets and nicotine patches) and boosting Big Pharma’s bottom line.

It’s shameful and disgusting, textbook fear mongering…

But you don’t need expensive “extras” to avoid lung cancer, because with a few simple and delicious snacks (foods already in your kitchen), you can SLASH your risk and DODGE this deadly disease…

Even if you’re a smoker!

In a new study, published in JAMA Oncology, researchers analyzed the dietary information and health records of more than 1.4 million adults from all over the world. Then, they divided these folks into five groups based on how much yogurt and dietary fiber they consumed each day.

Now, yogurt is pretty self-explanatory – you probably have some in your fridge right now – but fiber is a little more nuanced.

It’s a nutrient that works primarily in your gut, where it eases digestion, improves stool, and helps you feel “full” longer after eating. Most people get it through fruits, vegetables, and whole grains…

And compared to study participants who ate the least amount of fiber and yogurt, those who ate the most were 33 percent LESS LIKELY to develop lung cancer!

After eight years of follow-up, these folks (a mix of current, former, and non-smokers) cut their risk by ONE-THIRD… and it was practically BY ACCIDENT!

Plus, yogurt and fiber performed well individually.

Separate from yogurt intake, folks who consumed the highest amount of fiber were 17 percent less likely to develop the disease… and those who ate the most yogurt (3 to 4 ounces per day) had a 19 percent lower risk…

But that’s not all.

In a study published over the summer, Harvard University researchers found that two or more servings of yogurt per week can also help prevent colon cancer by inhibiting growths called adenomas, which can turn cancerous if left unchecked.

Generally, these effects likely stem from yogurt and fiber having prebiotic and probiotic properties – meaning that they promote the growth of good bacteria, which can improve your microbiome and boost your body’s ability to stay healthy.

If you or a loved one are worried about lung cancer, snacking on yogurt and high-fiber foods could be key toward preventing the disease – so stock up.

Some of the best high-fiber options include chia seeds, kiwi, oats, and almonds… but eating other fruits and veggies can easily up your intake as well.

And as for yogurt: You want to look for low-sugar varieties.

Some of Big Food’s most popular brands come LOADED with excess sugar, so always check labels before purchasing. Plain, low-fat Greek yogurt is a great place to start – and you can add fresh fruit for added flavor.
