Most of us would do just about anything to avoid having a heart attack or stroke.

In the recent study, researchers from the University of Alabama split mice into three groups and gave them either low, normal or high doses of potassium.
At the end of the trial, one thing was clear — the mice getting high amounts of potassium had significantly less hardening in their arteries than those getting the low dose.
