Delicious Dessert Stops Diabetes?!?

For the study, researchers fed cocoa to mice on an unhealthy diet.

Turns out that the cocoa helped reduce weight gain and balance blood sugar.

That’s because the powerful compounds in cocoa, called epicatechin monomers, help your body make more insulin.

And having enough insulin is critical to maintaining healthy blood sugar levels.

But these benefits come from eating the real stuff — rich dark chocolate with a high level of cocoa. Not the sugar-laden milk types.
