Blood-Red Berry CUTS Heart Risk

In Nordic countries – places like Sweden and Denmark – you’ll find these blood-red berries, which are related to cranberries, cooked in sugar and made into jam. There, folks serve it on toast or alongside reindeer steak dinners… sometimes covering tasty mashed potatoes.

In Russia, lingonberry juice is often mixed with vodka to form a simple and delicious cocktail… and in old folk traditions, the fruit was used as a disinfectant or mild laxative.

Now, groundbreaking research reveals that these incredible berries can do more… like LOWER sky-high blood pressure!

In that study, a doctoral project out of the University of Helsinki in Finland, researchers tested the effects of cold-pressed lingonberry juice on rats with high blood pressure, giving it to them as drinking fluid for eight weeks.

And by the end of the study, the juice significantly DROPPED their blood pressure!

Not only that, but an extra-concentrated form of the juice improved impaired blood vessel function and BLOCKED certain genes behind inflammation.

That indicates that lingonberries could help stop low-grade inflammation around the aorta, the major artery responsible for moving oxygen-rich blood OUT of the heart and INTO your organs…
