BUSTED! Bad Advice Is GIVING YOU Skin Cancer

And for a while, it worked.
Folks started investing in wide-brimmed hats… slather on SPF 5,000,000 sunblock… and sweating through long-sleeved shirts in the middle of July…
But they were following BAD ADVICE!
Recent research suggests that sunlight IS NOT to blame for many cases of skin cancer, and these “preventative” measures actually INHIBIT your body’s ability to produce vital nutrients…
Including the “sunshine vitamin” that WEAKENS and DISARMS deadly skin cancer!
I’ve told you about that special nutrient before… and it’s so universally good for you that I’ll undoubtedly bring it up again…
But before I remind you what it is, here’s why scientists are RETHINKING the mainstream stance on “cancer-causing” sunlight.
In one study, published in JAMA Dermatology over the summer, researchers linked low levels of vitamin A – NOT excess UV exposure – to increased risk of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, one of the main types of skin cancer.
In fact, folks with the highest levels of A had a 17 percent LOWER risk of the cancer… hinting at the nutrient’s impressive anti-cancer effects and calling the mainstream’s anti-sun stance into question.
It’s remarkable news… and frankly, it couldn’t have come at a better time…
Because moderate sunlight is totally safe – and more than that, your body NEEDS IT to fight deadly skin cancer!

See, vitamin D is called the “sunshine vitamin” because your body uses certain UV rays to create it… but if you’re all covered up, that vital sunlight can’t reach your skin as easily.
When that happens, your body can’t absorb those D-building nutrients, and production dwindles — limiting your ability to fight skin cancer!
It’s ironic, I know – but the answer here is spending more time in the sun.
Ideally, you want to shoot for 15 to 30 minutes of “uncovered” exposure (without sunscreen or long sleeves) per day… though, you can add extra layers if you’ll be outside longer.
