According to new findings from a broad, international research study, taking daily aspirin is now associated with an INCREASED risk of new heart failure!

The study leaders found that among more than 30,000 patients who were at risk for developing heart failure, the risk for those taking daily aspirin was 26% HIGHER than those not on a daily aspirin regimen.
But unfortunately, this latest finding on the so-called ‘benefits’ of daily aspirin isn’t new.
In early November, we reported that the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) – an independent panel composed of experts in disease prevention and evidence-based medicine – said that if you DON’T have a history of heart attack or stroke, you SHOULD NOT be taking daily aspirin just because your reach a certain age.

For example, according to the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association, aspirin for older adults with low risk (and no prior history of heart attack or stroke) are at a greater risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.
Another study suggests taking aspirin daily may promote cancer progression and lead to early DEATH among older adults.
Researchers say aspirin is associated with a 19% higher risk of being diagnosed with cancers that spread. There’s also a 22% higher risk of doctors finding an advanced cancer.
So, what does this all mean for you? Especially if you’re been taking a daily aspirin for your heart?
