In another study, published in the Indian Journal of Psychological Medicine in 2012, researchers gather 64 adults with a history of chronic stress and treated them with either 300 milligrams of full-spectrum ashwagandha or a placebo pill twice a day for 60 days.

Just like the other study, they regularly checked in on participants and logged the severity of symptoms related to anxiety, insomnia, depression, and social dysfunction.

By day 60, ashwagandha users had better overall well-being!

Specifically, they showed an average 69.7 percent improvement in certain markers of anxiety… a 79.2 percent DROP in severe depression scores… and improved ability to sleep.
