Add 13 Years to Your Life with ‘Forgotten’ Vitamin?!
Dear Turapür Today Reader,
Let’s face it. As we age, we’re ALL looking for a little extra ‘boost’ to help us live our healthiest – and longest – lives possible.
And in many cases, taking common vitamin supplements is a great way to improve immunity and overall health and wellness.
Sure, there are the usual suspects like vitamin C, vitamin D, and B vitamins.
But what if I told you there was a ‘forgotten’ vitamin out there that when folks don’t get enough of it, it can lead to some SERIOUS health issues.
But when taken regularly, it can practically ADD years to your life?
That’s right… I’m talking about vitamin K!
And most of us don’t really pay attention to whether we’re getting as much as we should.
But according to a new study, older adults with LOW vitamin K levels were more likely to die within 13 years compared to those whose vitamin K levels were adequate.
The study also concluded that vitamin K, which is a nutrient found in leafy greens and vegetable oils, is particularly beneficial for older adults… especially when it comes to heart and bone health.
Vitamin K is a nutrient that is important for maintaining healthy blood vessels, and according to the study, people with low vitamin K levels had a 19 percent HIGHER risk of death, compared to those with vitamin K levels that reflected adequate vitamin K intake.
Vitamin K is also a key driver of how your body directs calcium. You see, when you ingest calcium, it can go to your arteries and harden… or it can go to your bones (which is where you want it to go).
Adequate levels of vitamin K ensure calcium is directed to your bones. Vitamin K keeps calcium out of your arteries (good for preventing heart disease) and sends it to your bones (good for preventing osteoporosis).

This Food Could Be Growing Deadly Tumors
And getting enough vitamin K is as simple as eating your veggies.
Green, leafy veggies like kale, spinach, turnip greens, collards, Swiss chard, mustard greens, parsley, romaine, and green leaf lettuce are chock full of vitamin K.
It’s also found in Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage.
But what if you have a hard time stomaching veggies?
Vitamin K is also available as an easy-to-take supplement. Many health food stores and online retailers sell vitamin K as a stand-alone supplement, or combined with other nutrients like calcium, magnesium, and/or vitamin D.
If you haven’t thought much aboutvitamin K until today… now’s the perfect time to start getting more of it!
